Locum Occupational Therapist - Acute Geriatrics (Adelaide) $65-$75 per hour | ASAP Start | No Travel or Accommodation Provided | ASAP start untikl 19th Jan 2026 (possibility for extension) Join a well-regarded Adelaide health service in a rewarding locum role supporting an Acute Care of the Elderly team . This role suits an experienced OT with 2-3 years post grad experience, though clinicians with less experience and solid acute experience will also be considered. You'll be working on a busy acute geriatric ward supporting patients aged 85, focusing on functional assessment, cognitive screening, complex discharge planning, and close MDT collaboration. What You'll Be Doing Providing high-quality OT assessment and intervention in an acute geriatric setting Managing complex discharge planning and functional capacity assessments Supporting older adults with acute medical presentations Working closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years' experience (or slightly less with strong acute hospital experience ) No new grads Experience in acute care, geriatrics, or complex medical presentations Adelaide-based OR able to arrange own accommodation Australian working rights or valid Working Holiday Visa welcome If you're an OT who thrives in acute environments and enjoys supporting older adults to remain safe and independent, this is an excellent opportunity.
